Description
Under Louis XIV, Versailles was transformed from a simple hunting lodge to one of Europe's most magnificent public courts. Visitors ranged from tourists to scientists, musicians, royalty and other heads of state. This exhibit showcases what the visitors would see when they arrived, along with the impressions and souvenirs with which they returned home.
