Quiet as It's Kept, a colloquialism invoked to encourage secrecy, is a phrase found in works by Toni Morrison, Max Roach and David Hammons. The biennial, one of the better-known showcases of contemporary art, features more than 60 artists and collectives who work in a variety of mediums. Portions will remain on view through October 23.
