There are two extant Frank Lloyd Wright buildings in New York City - Crimson Beech, also known as the Cass House, in Staten Island and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. Celebrate the architect's sesquicentennial throughout the month of June at the Guggenheim with a series of tours, artist workshops and more.
It all kicks off on his actual birthday, June 8, the museum will be open and offering $1.50 admission. The day will also feature birthday treats in Cafe 3, never-before-shown photographs of the museum's construction, a Frank Lloyd Wright interpreter, and a special architectural tour of the building at noon.
