Description

Set against a border fence along West 110th Street, Eric Gottesman’s billboard asks the viewer to put themselves in the position of a migrant, to consider where we are going as a nation and to look at where divisive political language about immigration is leading us. The installation also features contributions by Hank Willis Thomas, Ronald Rael and Virginia San Fratelo, and many others. The project was originally part of The Value of Sanctuary: Building a House Without Walls.
