Mets vs. Yankees (Subway Series)

The Subway Series is always an exciting event in New York City sports. This year, there’s likely to be plenty on the line for the Yankees, who find themselves in the thick of the American League East race thanks to an exciting young roster led by Aaron Judge and Gary Sanchez. Ace pitcher Jacob deGrom, All-Star Michael Conforto and the Mets, meanwhile, still hope to right the ship despite a challenging, injury-riddled first half of the season. The first two meetings are in the Bronx; the teams then head to Queens for another pair of games.
