New York City Football Club vs. New York Red Bulls

Crosstown rivals NYCFC and the Red Bulls tangle again, having won a game apiece during their matches in June (one of which was part of the US Open Cup). NYCFC earned its first-ever win over the Red Bulls last year, and this season David Villa’s team is looming near the top of the Eastern Conference table. Bradley Wright-Phillips and the Red Bulls, on the other hand, are doing everything they can to stay in the playoff picture. The August 6 contest is at Yankee Stadium; the August 25 meeting takes place at Red Bull Arena.
