Sonya Clark: We Are Each Other

This event has already occurred

Description

We Are Each Other, the first comprehensive survey of Sonya Clark's communal projects, is dedicated to the Black experience in America. Also on view are a selection of Clark’s photographs, prints and sculpture, including five large-scale, collaborative projects, a highlight of which is her barrier-breaking The Hair Craft Project. Clark's work was part of Second Lives: Remixing the Ordinary, which inaugurated the museum's Columbus Circle location, but this is the artist's first New York City solo show.
